Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) is the first German university to establish a branch campus in the Republic of Korea.
In November 2009, its campus project received approval from the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The FAU Busan Branch Campus offers a Graduate School with a master degree program in Chemical and Bioengineering and a research center.
